My name is Lieze Messiaen, also known as Lilly June. I'm working already 15 years as a make-up artist.

I'm based at Kortrijk, Belgium.

 

I studied History of Arts at the University of Ghent. At the same time I studied to become an allround make-up artist. I love every aspect of the make-up world, from beauty to special effects to Hairstyling. After these studies, I followed a lot of specialisation courses in Belgium, France, London and I went to Los Angeles to learn more about the make-up industry.

As a freelance make-up artist my range of work varies from moviesets to television and videoclips, events, photoshoots, fashionshows, bridal make-up & hairstyling,  eventparties, workshops...

​

I'm also a make-up teacher at CVO MIRAS Bruges and I'm a guest lecturer in other schools, for business events and private workshops. 

My interest in becoming a make-up teacher started very spontaniously when I had the opportunity to go to Rome to teach make-up in a Dance- and Theaterschool 'Teatro Greco'. 

My job is my greatest passion and that reflects in my courses.

I teach the total package to become an allround make-up artist. I give the courses: Basic Make-up, Beauty Expert, Specialisation Make-up for photoshoots and Fashionshows, Bridal Make-up, SFX make-up, Make-up for Theater, Television & Movies, Hairstyling, Face- and bodypainting. 

As a teacher I find it important to give my expertise to my students so they can grow to the best trained make-up artists.
